Tarannum Thind
With over 20 years of experience in performing arts, broadcasting, and community involvement, Tarannum Thind is one of Vancouver’s most recognised South Asian media personalities. As a pioneer not just for women, but also for South Asians in the field of broadcasting at large, Tarannum has brought her warmth and passion for storytelling to many South Asian homes in Vancouver and beyond.
A few Glimpses from my Journey
Tarannum started in the industry at the young age of 23. She has grown both professionally and personally amidst the community. From starting her career afresh to becoming a mom, the community has actively witnessed Tarannum’s journey with immense love and support. Just as Tarannum is evolving personally, so is she professionally. She hosted and produced a highly successful daily live afternoon talk show on Connect FM. Currently, she is working with Government Communications and Public Engagement as a Communications Specialist for the Punjabi Language. Tarannum recently launched her Podcast “Chai with T”.
When she’s not working, Tarannum can be found immersed in nature walks, being a soccer mom to her two young children, and obsessively listening to music.
